Research

RMG explore how sound effects us cognitively, physiologically and psychologically, exploring the consequences of this on our behaviour. Our research projects look at the power of pre-cognitive synesthesia, human echo-location, psycho-acoustics, how sound influences consumer purchasing decisions and the importance of sound in our home and work environment – from the bizarre to the breathtaking – and how the ephemeral nature of sound gets inside and around us 360 ̊, 24/7. We draw attention to how important sound is & how it plays such an influential, yet often undervalued role in our lives. Our research covers commercial, holistic, education and science applications of sound.
